this is a great work! I used to live in a Park Avenue apartment like Sherman McCoy and I can report, this is exactly how it is. when you're sitting up there in your aerie's nest up in the clouds and all those filthy city people are demonstrating 50 stories below, believe me nothing feels better than the idea of dropping a champagne bottle off your window ledge to result in the complete destruction and denigration of those sort.anyway a classic work. well plotted. very description. accurate portrait of NYC
